Bradwell B in the Community

We want Bradwell B to become part of the community. We aim to work closely with the local communities and strengthen links with those that live and work around the development site.

Over the years we have supported projects in Essex,  which have improved the social, economic, or environmental wellbeing of communities and improved the quality of local life.

2018

Funding towards the external repair costs of the village hall for use by the Bradwell-on-Sea community (Bradwell-on-Sea Parish Council)

A new storage facility for a well-used community shop (Bradwell-on-Sea Community Shop Association)

Funding to support the development of a heritage WW1 aerodrome to make it more accessible for those with disabilities (Stow Maries Aerodrome)

Funds to refurbish an outbuilding into a multi-purpose education centre at the Othona Coastal Park (The Othona Community)

Funding to help run a residential sailing course for disadvantaged young people from mid-Essex (Sea-Change Projects Ltd)

Contribution towards operations costs of running an annual arts festival in Maldon (Maldon Festival of Arts)

Funding to run an outreach project in the Dengie Peninsular to address health and well-being of isolated elderly people (Dengie Project Trust)

Support for the community response helping people during the Covid-19 pandemic in rural districts of Maldon (Maldon & District Community Voluntary Service)

Funding for surveys to support plans to site a nationally-important heritage steam tug vessel at the promenade in Maldon as an educational and cultural facility (Steam Tug Brent Trust)
