Why is consultation important?
Consulting with local communities helps us to shape and develop our plans.
The Planning Act 2008 requires us to consult widely with the community and other organisations such as councils, businesses and community groups etc., before we submit our application for a development consent order. We have set out our commitment to consultation in our Statement of Community Consultation, which you can find here.
Stage One consultation
Our Stage One consultation ran between 4 March and 1 July 2020.
